Can you see the Hollywood sign from the Staples Centre?

We are planning our trip to LA and wanted to stay near the Staples Centre. I just wanted to know if the Hollywood sign is in view around there.|||nope, there's too many buildings blocking the way and besides, it's a bit far from there to be within view anyway. Just go to Hollywood since you'll already be in LA, it's not that far. You can see it from the fwy (if you drive around LA) but if you end up taking the metro train (public transportation) get off on Highland. You can get a clear view from the street (try Sunset Blvd)
