I currently live in the UK by the way.|||Why don't you read some biographies of film directors you admire and find out how they did it? Also, watch movies, listen to the DVD commentary tracks, make movies of your own, go to film school, etc.|||Create a portfolio - Direct films

Research the film schools your going to and what they require to accept you
Don't have anymore ideas. I just heard these from my friend who's trying to be a director
