How do I get from Hollywood to Long Beach?

Trying to get to Long Beach to go on a cruise to mexico. Am staying in Hollywood at the moment and need to get to long beach by 11am on Sunday. Is there any public transport that would be easy and safe (I have quite a lot of luggage) or is there a shuttle? How much would a taxi be approx? Just looking for the easiest and cheapest way possible so any suggestions welcome.. Thanks|||Probably too far for a cab, but since you asked...well, try http://www.taxifarefinder.com/|||there are 3 cruise ports (one in San Perdo, one in Willmigton

and the last one is in Long beach

are you taking a carnival cruise shop? as they are ones in Long beach (there others leave from San Perdo)

and yes there is public transit but you would have to leave by 8am to get to Long beach by 11:00am

you first will take the Red Line to 7th/metro

then change to the blue line to long beach

then transfer again to the Long beach passsport bus to the Queen mary

cost is $1.25 per mode of transit

(meaning you have to pay twice or get a day pass for

$5.00)

or you could aslo call a shuttle (Super shuttle or prime time)

this might be better way if you have a lot of luggagae

else you will have to transffer 3 times|||Public transit between Hollywood %26amp; Long Beach is quite easy though with a lot of luggage you should try to avoid weekday rush hours. Just take Metro rail red line subway from Hollywood to the 7th street metro center station in Downtown LA then transfer to a Blue line train to Long beach. Once in Long beach you would need to transfer to a local Long beach transit bus to reach the various cruise terminals. Keep in mind also that many cruises leave from San pedro which is a different location from Long Beach and could be accessed by taking a #445 express bus from downtown LA instead of the Blue line train. good Luck!|||get in a car and drive.

or get in a taxi and say i wanna go to long beach.
