It seems very vintage and old fashion, but what time period in Hollywood do you think most influnced the park? I have heard the 30's many times.|||Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. Spanning 135 acres in size, its theme is show business, drawing inspiration from the heyday of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney%27s_鈥?/a>|||It started out with vintage Hollywood of the 30s %26amp;
40s but it does evolve %26amp; tries to stay interesting
%26amp; current. The park was built around the giant
Sorcerer Mickey Hat from Fantasia that was
released on November 13,1940.
The Great Movie ride has the classic movies
depicted with James Cagney, John Wayne,
The Wizard of Oz, Cassablanca and goes on to
show Alien and movies into the 80s %26amp; early 90s.
It also features Mann's Chinese Theatre and Walt
Disney's "One Man's Dream" and history of animation.
Disney is celebrating 100 years of Disney Magic!
Walt had his vision %26amp; his dreams. He tells the story
from the beginning but he was always about technology
%26amp; keeping up with the times. He was already dead
when Hollywood studios was built but his family %26amp;
the imagineers try to carry on the way that Walt would
have.
The downtown part of the part looks old fashioned
with the shops and the parade was vintage slapstick
but this was just recently redone and features Block
Party Bash featuring Toy Story Characters.
Over the years they have added The Extreme Stunt
Show, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Star Tours
%26amp; The Jedi Weekends, Jedi Training, Playhouse
Disney Live, Muppet Vision 3D, All The High School
Musical Stuff and The New American idol Experiance.
You have the Tower of Terror Ride with an old fashioned
20s feel to it across from the Rockin' Roller Coaster
which is a coaster that looks like a stretch limo with
lights %26amp; rocking roll music.
I think the park has a great contrast and the Fantasmic
Spectacular shows just that. I begins with Sorcerer
Mickey %26amp; Fantasia and uses all the Disney Classics
movies and everything into the early 90s when the show
began. It uses all the latest tehnology to produce an
amazing show! I just love this park...okay I love them all!|||the park was designed around the golden age of hollywood which is the 1930's and 1940's. that time period in hollywood was glamorous and gave us very talented actors such as judy garland, fred astaire, clark gable, humphrey bogart, ingrid bergman, jimmy stewart, and shirley temple.|||Yeah, I think the 30's to as there's stuff like the Wizard of Oz and Casablanca.
