They make movies of such trivial and inane things, but they never marshal their vast production resources to create true masterpieces that glorify God. That is what is appalling and should be appalling to all.
I call on all people to boycott Hollywood effective immediately.|||I enjoyed the movie "Joshua". It was based on a series of rather good books. I thought Tony Goldwyn was excellent.|||First, Hollywood makes what is going to sell, and, if you have done anything to look into it, the majority of religious people don't even watch religious movies that much. Why should Hollywood spend their time and money to make a production that won't bring back much profit? If you have really looked at it, the only movie that was about jesus, that was in a movie theater, that people remember was the passion of the christ. And that was made by a crazy man. The majority of other holy, glorifying movies just made it to dvd. One was televised on a news channel and didn't make it into the movie theater. But the first shoot em up movie, or romantic comedy that they put out next year is gonna make it to the movies. Christian movies just don't sell. But they normally are good movies. Oh, and no one will boycott Hollywood until the make something that was purposefully made to call america stupid. sorry, but its pretty much how it is.|||because those movies are too boring to actually watch.
I hear The Passion of the Christ was good, but that's about it. There used to be more popular ones, but that was when religion was still something everyone practiced.
