Who designs the posters for Hollywood movies?

Is it the graphic design department at Hollywood (if there is such thing) or the projects are contracted with different freelance designers or firms?

Thanks.|||It depends on who is contracted and who are in-house. For example:

Warner Brothers may have in-house designers to do their design work. In other words, I can only assume that people within a cinema's department would have designers. However, if they don't, they might hire outside sources to do their design work. Certain film makers that want to produce movie posters that show a particular look may need designers that cater to that style. The people who produced INCEPTION had a design group do their campaign movie posters. They all share a similar look and I'm more than sure they hired someone to produce the movie posters that they intended for it to look.

Bottom line; Outside hired designers. In-house company designers.
