What would it be like to relocate to hollywood?

I would love to go to hollywood california to do a course at the music institute in guitar craft. I am currently living in ireland.





I basically want to know if this is a realistic aim.





What is it like trying to rent a place?


Whats the job situation like over there?


Would i get a visa?


What is hollywood like to live in?





Any advice would be greatly appreciated!





Cheers!|||Well first off... you would not get a visa under the reasons that you want. They are hard to get and your reason is frivolous. Even if you miraculously got a visa you still wouldn't be able to work because that is a wholllle other visa... AND if you still yet miraculously got a work visa you would find it very very difficult to get a job because California is one of the hardest hit economically because of the recession... some people can't find jobs after a year or even two. unemployment is at 10 percent... so it would be very hard. Hollywood is very expensive (as is most of L.A.) Holly is just another town with nice houses and ghettos. Yes, ghettos. Hollywood isn't all glitz and glamour and there are other towns you could live in other than Hollywood if you want to be in L.A. I would suggest you ask this question under "Los Angeles" instead of "other- united states" and see what answers you get. There are some very educated and experienced answerers in that area.
